Project Overview

The City of Burien has obtained a United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) grant through the Safe Streets for All funding program to develop its first Comprehensive Safety Action Plan.

The focus of this Comprehensive Safety Action Plan will be safety for all roadway users and the reduction or elimination of roadway fatalities and serious injuries.

This project will identify and prioritize feasible roadway safety improvement projects and strategies citywide.
