The 2024 national theme for Welcoming Week is a call to recognize that we’re at our best when We’re All In. Our Welcoming Burien 2024 event will mark the fourth year of community coming together. It will be held in Burien Town Square Park on Saturday, September 14, 2022, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., everyone is invited for a day of community connection, play, and celebration!

There will be:
GAMES - Come play with us! There will be an array of multicultural games from around the world, that kids (and kids at heart) can play.
CULTURAL PERFORMANCES
Dance and music! Enjoy the sights and sounds of dance performances and music to celebrate cherished traditions that reflect our community’s cultural heritage.
MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS
There will be a resource fair of community partners that will share with you the programs and services they provide.
FREE ROOT BEER FLOATS generously served by the Highline Schools Foundation, while supplies last.
ARTS AND CRAFTS TABLES for the young ones to channel their creativity.
