Free Event Supporting Homeownership and Entrepreneurship Coming to Burien Community Center in April
The City of Burien and Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA)–Greater Seattle will host the Real Estate & Business Expo, featuring a day of free workshops tailored for first-time homebuyers, existing homeowners, investors, and business owners.
The event, sponsored by BECU with additional support from community partners, will include workshops highlighting estate planning, government down-payment assistance programs, and more.
“We are excited to partner with the Greater Seattle chapter of the Asian Real Estate Association of America to make resources available to our residents and surrounding communities,” said Lorraine Chachere, City of Burien Economic Development Specialist. “Homeownership and entrepreneurship are two ways to build assets and also great strategies to enable greater access to economic security and accumulate generational wealth.”
The Real Estate & Business Expo will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in multiple rooms at the Burien Community Center (14700 6th Avenue SW).
