On December 6, 2021, the community is invited to a virtual reception honoring the service and dedication of Burien Deputy Mayor Krystal Marx and Councilmembers Pedro Olguin and Nancy Tosta.

The Burien City Council adopted Burien’s first community-level Climate Action Plan on November 15, 2021. Implementation of the plan will occur over time, with actions beginning in 2022.
