Prior to joining the City of Burien in 2019, Hope worked for the City of Redmond in its Parks and Recreation Department.
“Carolyn is an exceptional leader and manager with a broad level of experience,” City Manager Brian Wilson said. “She will provide steady leadership during this transition.”

“I am honored to be chosen to lead the organization through this time of transition,” said Hope. “I am proud to serve with a really strong leadership team and highly competent staff.”
