New Plan Details How Burien Can Meet the Next 20 Years of Housing Needs

The City of Burien will host an online community forum to discuss the draft results of the city’s first Housing Action Plan. Please join us to learn more about the city’s housing needs, and proposed strategies and actions to build more housing for all of Burien’s residents. 

Staff will present results, followed by an opportunity for feedback in small group discussions. To learn more about the draft Housing Action Plan, please visit the project website. 

Community Forum Details

6:00–7:15 p.m. 

Register in advance for this meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Spanish and Vietnamese interpretation will be provided.

There will also be more opportunities to learn about the Housing Action Plan and provide public comment during upcoming Burien City Council and Planning Commission meetings.

  • November 18 at 6 p.m.: The Burien Planning Commission and the Burien Human Services Commission will discuss the draft Housing Action Plan.
  • November 23 at 7 p.m.: The Burien City Council will discuss the draft Housing Action Plan.
