Burien Magazine

The Highline Heritage Museum and City of Burien are teaming up to document the stories of our community’s experience during COVID-19. The Burien Pandemic Story Project aims to document the stories, photos, and other artifacts of community member’s experiences during the pandemic. If you are willing to share, your story may be selected to be published in the fall issue of the Burien Magazine.

Burien Magazine, delivered to every household in Burien, features stories of programs and services offered by the City and recognizes civic leaders in our community. The magazine also provides important educational information to help improve the quality of life for residents. Our ultimate goal is to encourage in Burien residents a sense of connection to community and local businesses, as well as promote civic pride.

The magazine is mostly paid through advertising from local businesses. Not only does this the advertising help support an important communication tool for the City, but it also supports our local economy by offering local businesses an affordable yet effective channel to advertise directly to local customers. If you are interested in advertising, please contact communications@burienwa.gov.
