Lake Burien School Memorial Park Improvements (Construction)


The City of Burien seeks a contractor to replace and construct new ADA compliant asphalt and gravel loop pathways, new concrete walkways, an expansion of the play area and installation of new play equipment (provided by Owner). The contractor will provide all construction management, coordination, labor, materials, equipment, and any permits outside of the City of Burien permit. There are no changes to the existing restroom building, tennis courts, and parking area are planned, and no new buildings are proposed.

  • Delivery via US Mail, Fed Ex, UPS, or courier service is acceptable. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to ensure timely and proper delivery on or before the bid date and time. The City of Burien does not take responsibility for delivery and will not open or acknowledge receipt until after the Public Bid Opening.

This is a prevailing wage project per RCW 39.12 and the Davis Bacon Act per 40 U.S.C. §§ 3141 et seq.

The City of Burien is a Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Community. The Burien Community Center Restroom Modifications is funded by the City of Burien and in part through the King County Consortium Community Development Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The contract will be subject to regulations of the Department of Labor and Housing and Urban Development. Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wage as set forth in the contract documents.

All bidders must certify that they are not on the Controller General’s list of ineligible contractors or the list of parties excluded from Federal procurement or non-procurement programs.
