New Art Exhibit at Burien Community Center

The Burien Community Center is currently presenting the works of photographer Doug Early until the end of September 2017.

“I really enjoy taking pictures of nature, landscapes and architecture.  (This picture is from a recent trip that I took to Mt. Tongariro in New Zealand.) I moved to Burien about three years ago from Seattle and I’m really liking the great variety of eateries in Olde Burien, the quick friendships that I’ve made with my neighbors and also living so close to Seahurst Park.”

“I hope my photography can connect in some way with the viewer.  Either by triggering a memory of a familiar place that they visited or by an image that just puts a smile on their face.

This year, I’ve been privileged to have some of my photographs juried and awarded first place at both Burien and Normandy Park Art Shows. “

More information about the artist can be found at www.dougearlyphotography.com

The Burien Community Center is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-8:00pm and Fridays 8:30am-5:00pm.  For more information please call Burien Parks and Recreation at 206-988-3700.
